

Additional training is provided via online tutorials and collaboration with other users. Training and support provided by ITS are limited to account access questions. MS Teams is available via web browser, desktop application, and mobile app. At its core, MS Teams provides chat, audio calling, video calling, screen share, and more with individuals and groups outside of a team structure. Microsoft (MS) Teams is an enterprise-wide collaboration suite that lives within Mason’s Office 365 environment. Each one was created on the Microsoft Power Platform, which enables anyone to build a simple app to solve a business challenge-including you! To ensure a relevant selection, an app must meet one of the following conditions to be shown here.Note: Microsoft Teams is an evolving service settings within Teams may change with little to no notice as the ITS Project Team makes adjustments for security, compliance, or performance reasons. This section includes apps made by peers to help your org be more productive. Developers submit their apps to your IT admin to review.

Your IT admin can opt to show a category called Built for your org. These apps go through an official approval process in your org. If you’re just exploring or wanting to find cool Teams apps, you might start by selecting from a category like Popular across Teams or Top Picks. You can also browse by category (like Project Management or Utilities), or by industry (like Education or Finance). Use the search box in the upper left corner to see if a particular app or program has a version for Teams. In addition to App Studio and Visual Studio, it’s another place where you can submit apps for approval. Note: Attention developers! On the lower left of this screen, you'll see Manage your apps > Submit an app to your org.
